The Name on Every Watch Is My Daughter's — Spelled Backwards.
ROLF is not just a brand. It's a promise a father made to his family at the hardest moment of his life.
How a Dream Became a Watch
My name is Rennan. Three years ago (2023), I packed everything I owned, took my wife and my three-year-old daughter, and moved from Brazil to the United States — chasing a life I could only imagine.
Miami was supposed to be the beginning. Instead, it nearly broke us.
We were deceived by people we trusted. We struggled financially in ways I'm still not comfortable talking about. There were nights I looked at my daughter sleeping and wondered if I had made the biggest mistake of my life. My wife and I talked seriously about going back to Brazil. We had nothing left to lose.
But we didn't go back.
Orlando Changed Everything
On 2024 we moved to Orlando to start over. And slowly — very slowly — something began to shift inside me.
I realized I had been living with what I can only describe as a mindset of scarcity. Everything was too expensive. Money was always running out. I was always focused on what I didn't have. And somehow, the less I focused on abundance, the less of it I seemed to find.
I started working on that. On my mind. On my faith. On the way I saw the world.
In April of that year, an elderly man at our church approached me. He said God had shown him something: that I would receive double honor on this earth. That my life would change. That wherever I placed my feet, I would thrive.
I held onto those words. And then, like most things do when life gets busy, I almost forgot them.
September 2024
In September — the month of my birthday — my wife told me she was pregnant.
I wasn't ready. I sat with that news for a long time, feeling the weight of another life depending on me. A second child. A bigger responsibility. A louder version of the same question I'd been asking for years: How am I going to provide for my family?
That night, I got on my knees and I talked to God. I told Him I was exhausted. That I had been trying, failing, trying again. That I needed help. That I needed just one product — one thing that would work.
That night, I dreamed of a watch.
ROLF Was Born
I woke up and couldn't stop thinking about watches. Within weeks, I had launched my first watch in a general accessories store — almost as a test. It sold. Then I opened a store dedicated entirely to watches.
When it came time to name the brand, I didn't have to think for long.
My daughter's name is Maria Flor. ROLF is her name, spelled backwards.
She was three years old when we crossed that border with everything uncertain. She never complained. She never asked for anything. She just held my hand. This brand carries her name because she — without knowing it — carried us.
My son was born in April. In May, I made my first thousand dollars. In June, six thousand. In July, eighteen thousand. By February 2026, ROLF had crossed over $150,000 in sales — shipped to customers in over 40 countries.
